Who am I?

I’m Miranda, a writer and editor from Toronto (Tkaronto), Canada. My writing has been published in The Walrus, The Literary Review of Canada, Broadview Magazine, and more. My story, “Kids in Crisis,” received an honourable mention from the National Magazine Awards. From 2021 to 2022, I was a Fellow at Yale University’s Lived Experience Transformational Leadership Academy. In my spare time, I sit on numerous mental health advisory councils.

I’m not a doctor, nor an expert on treating mental illness, and nothing in this newsletter should be interpreted as medical advice. I am; however, a lifelong sufferer of mental illness and have gleaned a lot of useful coping methods that might be of help to others.
